I know many on the forum still remember Gwenda, who was a huge part of the forum until she became too ill to participate some years ago. This brave lady lost her fight for life and slipped very peacefully away on Tuesday morning at 12.30am. She had a very severe form of RA and was unable to tolerate any of the drugs but right to the end she was funny, brave and fiesty. Her funeral is on Wednesday next 19th October at the Carleton crem, Poulton, near Blackpool, 11 00am. Rest in peace, my friend xxxx

Thank you for bringing it to the attention of the forum Jean. As you know I've replied elsewhere, but what a woman eh?

Thank you for posting this Jean. I remember Gwenda as a lady whose spirit was incredibly strong despite her physical difficulties and great pain. Her spirit will live on and inspire us all.

So very sad for her family and their huge loss. Thinking of them all very much indeed.

Love, Lizxx

Thank you Jean for letting us know about the sad loss of Gwenda.

I sadly arrived too late to know Gwenda on the forum, she certainly was a remarkable woman and one to be much admired for her bravery and strength.
